Bedouins: Elham Al Kamlat

Further  to go farther with the Beduins !

Bedouins are said to be the distant descendants of Ishmael and a line of biblical characters such as Adnan or Qahtan. They live mainly in the Middle East and North Africa. They are Arabs. During the 20th century, the division of the region under the Sykes-Picot agreements considerably limited their nomadic status. 170,000 of them settled in southern Israel, in the Negev desert. Their main activity remains the breeding of camels, goats and sheep until very recently when the traditional way of life gradually gave way to modernity.
